Chess Pieces - Let’s Begin

Compiled of sixty-four squares (placed 8 rows by eight), alternating between light and dark, a chess board supplies the figurative battleground on which participants compete. From here, chess players are able to project their assaults, protect their king, and defend their ground.

At the beginning of every game, chess pieces are placed at the upper and lower rows. From these beginning positions, strategies and maneuvers develop. Executed between 2 adversaries, chess is basically a battle between two armies. The chess pieces correspond to that of a historical armament, fitted with a king, a queen, two bishops, two knights, 2 rooks, and 8 pawns.
